CCP Fund Raising for Sid Hildawa

Our good friend Sid Hildawa is slowly but markedly regaining his health, and we thank you for your prayers and expressions of concern. His hospital and medical expenses have, however, ballooned. The Cultural Center of the Philippines, with family and friends, is organizing an exhibit-sale to help Sid and his family ease the strain. Your contribution of an art work or art works will be very much appreciated.

Sid's CCP office will receive donations from March 25 to April 1 during office hours; sale will be from April 2 to April 11 from 9am to 8pm at the CCP Gift Shop, ground floor, adjacent to the Little Theater. The entire proceeds will go to Sid's medical expenses. For more details, please contact Nitz and Gale at 8323702 and 8321125 loc. 1504-1506.

Regards,

Nitz H. Millagracia

[R3]VISION

[R3]VISION
[Raising Awareness of Ecological Responsibility through Music Video]
RATIONALE:
Ayala Foundation is involved in promoting environmental protection through proper waste management and disposal in support of RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act. But despite of its enactment many are still unaware of the existence of this law. Thus, the SWM program seeks to popularize the promotion of the program and to reach a wider range of audience by producing music videos. This will be done through a competition involving the creation of MTVs that would tackle environmental protection practices with emphasis on its prescriptive provisions

The idea of a music video was conceptualized as a means to engage the younger generation to a heightened concern of the environment and its issues. The contest would also serve as a campaign to generate the participants’ interest on environmental protection.
