The subject matter is considered sculptural evolution of object in various form, by using wood that was once a foundation of house in his early life as time goes by the object transforms as an art medium in his new found form.- Jethro Jocson
Stand translation to Filipino is " tayo" with another meaning as, we or more other people considered together.
"Stand", a combination of three and two dimensional artworks. The sculptural works maintain a position supported by old woods suggestive of expressing a particular earthy quality. The painting works represent to be in a specified condition of the sculptural pieces using acrylic and charcoal on canvas. The 24 pieces artworks compose of variable size using monochromatic, bright, splash of colors and distinct stroke of lines.
