NCCA Gallery presents PLUS+ by WhateverSalad.
The Universal yearning of humans is to be happy. This exhibit entitled “PLUS+” is meant to put the worst parts aside, and set a mood (though sometimes nonsensical) that can communicate to the viewers the different reasons and fragments of bliss and positivity of life and death itself. “Whatever Salad” is a group, consisting of Fine Arts students from Bulacan State University Malolos, Bulacan. The exhibition presents a mixture of street, pop art, lowbro, and modern style with works repertoire from 2D works such as paintings, photography and other media to sculpture and installation. WhateverSalad is composed of young & emerging artists, Edward Pasaporte, Jasper Castor, Rome Quizon, Justine Basa, Raisa Yabut, Rudolph Doanne, Kevin Enriquez and Gerone Perez. PLUS + is their first exhibition as group with special participation by Jonathan Ranola.
PLUS+ opens at NCCA Gallery on 11 August 2011 at 6PM.the exhibition is on view until 30 August 2011. NCCA Gallery is located at 633 Gral.Luna St. Intramuros Manila.
