Altro Mondo presents 'Habagatan'

A gathering of artists from the Visayas and Mindanao will open their group's first exhibition, dubbed “Habagatan,” at Altro Mondo - Arte Contemporanea this Thursday, July 5, from 6:00 – 10:00 PM on the 3rd Level of Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center, Makati City.

Together known as The Vismin Art Collective, their debut exhibition includes Lester Amacio, Cezar Arro, Mariano Catague, Florence Cinco, Gary Custodio, Rommel Garde, Christopher Gomez, Jana Jumalon-Alano, Gualberto Licong, Dennis 'Sio' Montera, Jericho Vamenta, and Arel Zambarrano.

The Vismin Art Collective came together as a result of the recently concluded Philippine Art Awards, which conferred upon each of the artists the Juror’s Choice Award in the regional leg of the competition. Since then, the awardees have banded together to promote fellow artists from their regions.
