then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of crude reality
and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams”

Dancing Wounded’s commitment to create exciting new contemporary dance artists and fresh new works needs your partnership in helping us fund three individuals to create new solo works in a Dancing Wounded’s Residency Grant called “Insurrection”.
“Insurrection” will enable three artists to explore, address and work on their ideas of “What is Philippine Contemporary Dance? They will be priviliged to be given full use of studio space and its facilities to experiment on dance projects, plan dance visions together with discussions and fora on issues of “identity’ and a stipend to allow full concentration and focus of energy.
The fruits of these works will be presented back to you as their enablers for a Free performance on March. By buying tickets of the Fund raising Performance Called “Next Take” you are producing three contemporary dancers and three of their works in a first of its kind residency in the Philippines.
Help us keep the dream alive in the name of Contemporary Dance!
