JUAN FOR TREES : AN INSTALLATION AVENUE

Juan for Trees: An Installation Avenue

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), in celebration of Earth Day in 2009, wishes to invite students to join Juan for Trees (143s): An Installation Avenue. This is a design competition of conceptual trees that will be part of a public art installation at the front lawn of the CCP. It is an avenue for students to implement theories into actuality, and work with corporations towards innovative recycling ideas. 143s is about nurturing a green generation.

This is an exciting project which we hope you could be a part of. We would be more than happy to visit your school to address your student body and student organizations who may be interested to participate in this effort. Hence, we would like to schedule an appointment with you as soon as possible because the deadline for registration is on March 11, 2009. You may coordinate with Karen Ocampo Flores, Officer In Charge of the Visual Arts and Museo Division of CCP or Marika B. Constantino, Curator and Writer for 143s, at juanfortrees@gmail.com to know more about this competition.

Attached are documents that you may find useful. Guidelines, registration forms and other pertinent information are available at:
