Fifteen artists, in camaraderie, will not be awarded but will commemorate the 114th Anniversary of Philippine Independence with their original works. As the bravery and courage of our forefathers and artist’s individual expressions in facing economic crisis, to encourage the artists or every individual status to continue and pursue the calling that God has given to everyone.
The group was organized and curated by Jes Evangelista, with his fellow artist to present several art works in large and small scale of different medium. Participating artists are : Anna Cadiz, Hoche Briones, Nick Calma, Jasper de leon, Denes Dasco, Jes Evangelista, Paul Infante, Mai Lorilla, Chelony Mercado, Elmer Torio, Ryck Recto, Ponj Roco jr., Eghai Roxas, Byron Valenzuela, Anna Vergel.
The show will be viewed at the 2nd floor, the Jewellery, Greenhills, Shopping Center on June 10-24, 2009, Wednesday.
Honoring this memorable event will be Mrs. Kaye Tinga (wife of the Mayor of Taguig) together with family, friends and co-artists and with opening cocktail on June 10 at 6:30pm.
We will also have art acvtivities:
- Sketching w/ the artist June 14 & 21 @ (3-6pm)
- Film showing: June 17 & 20 @ (3-6pm)
- Art workshop: June 13,14,16,17,19 & 20 @ 1-3pm
