Water Windows Related Gallery Event: Talk by WWF CEO and Vice Chairman Lory Tan • Sept. 17, Sat, 3-5pm at Silverlens Galleries
Jeanne Tan's art is deeply connected to the environment as seen in her series of oil paintings in Water Windows at 20SQUARE.
Prior to this exhibit, Tan has been involved in numerous environmental projects such as being illustrator to the children's book, The Jin and the Turtle (project of WWF Philippines and Bookmark), and painting for Walong Filipina, paintings of eight male environmentalists, each one done by a different Filipina painter.
In conjunction with the exhibit is a talk by World Wildlife Fund Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman, Lory Tan on September 17, 3-5pm at SLab.
Join us to learn more about the country's ecological situation and how you and I are a part of it.
Water Windows by Jeanne Tan runs simultaneously with SLICE by Kidlat de Guia at silverlens and Working in Progress curated by Adeline Ooi featuring Chati Coronel, Corinne De San Jose and Ryan Villamael at SLab. The three shows will run until September 24, 2011.
